Land Use Grievance Form

Purpose of Form:

To allow Atkinson homeowners whose property abutts Town land to file a formal complaint regarding trees on Town land that pose a potential danger to their property. 

Please complete this form and include a diagram of your property with all potentially hazardous trees clearly identified on the diagram and supported with corresponding photos.   

Complaint Process:

1. Complete form and attach diagram and pictures.   All complaints must be submitted formally through this process.
2.  The Town Administrator’s office will contact you within XX days to schedule an onsite visit to evaluate areas of concerns.
3. The Town will  document an action plan and timeline for addressing your concerns within XX days after the site visit.

There are a number of factors that may impact the action plan including scheduling, urgency and town budget.
