$80 for Tri town residents, $88 for non-try town resident.

 
The three towns Recreation Departments of Atkinson, Plaistow, and Sandown are teaming up again to offer a fun-filled daytrip to see Newport RI.
 
Join us as we explore the magic of The Breakers Mansion during the Holiday Season. The Breakers Mansion dates to 1895 and was the home of William H. Vanderbilt. The Breakers is just one of many great Gilded Age houses that adorn Newport RI and welcome visitors with spectacular holiday displays. During our tour of the Breakers, you will see nearly 30 Christmas trees exquisitely decorated to complement the décor and theme of each room, like Mr. Vanderbilt’s tree in The Breakers, ornamented with trains and top hats! Hundreds of poinsettias, garlands, wreaths, and fresh floral arrangements add color, warmth, and life. As always, the 15-foot-tall poinsettia tree in the Great Hall of The Breakers – made up of 150 poinsettia plants – provides a perfect holiday photo opportunity.
 
Once our tour is complete, we will head over to historic Hotel Viking for an upscale lunch in the Viking Ballroom. Guests will have their choice of Local Fluke (flounder) | Poached Potatoes, Haricot Verts, Lemon Burre Blanc, or Lemon & Basil Chicken Breast | Saffron Risotto, Broccolini, Roasted Tomato Jus GF. Let’s not forget about dessert, Apple Galettes, or Cinnamon Streusel.
 
While on the Coach bus we will enjoy holiday movies and play some games to pass the time.
This day trip includes 2 stops and a fair amount of walking while we visit the mansion.
 
Payment is due upon registration and space is limited. 
Gratuity for the bus driver is not included in the ticket price, please plan accordingly. Refunds are available until November 28th.

 The departure for Atkinson Residents will be at 8:00 a.m., please arrive Atkinson community center by 7:45 a.m.
