Atkinson Tree Lighting – Attention Atkinson residents! The Atkinson Recreation and the Atkinson Fire Fighter’s Association are planning their annual Atkinson Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 26th at Dow Common. Santa is arriving around 5:00 pm and lights the Town Tree. Please join some caroling /sing along around 4:45 and more singing with. Followed by festivities; bring your camera/ phone for Take your own photos with Santa, sweets give away by Atkinson Women’s Civic Club, Holiday craft tables by Kimball Library, Hot / Cold Cider and Hot Cocoa by Lions Club. Don’t forget to bring letters to Santa. Those letters will be read on Atkinson Cable TV. Atkinson Recreation is setting up a GIVING TREE for homebound seniors’ wish lists. Lions Club is collecting canned and non-perishable food to donate to local food pantries and winter coats, hats and mittens, Atkinson Fire Fighters’ Association is collecting Toys for Tot- new and unwrapped toys.
