23 Veterans Day Breakfast and Ceremony

Attention Atkinson Veterans, family, and friends!

Atkinson Recreation is hosting a Veterans Breakfast and Ceremony on Saturday, November 11th at 9:00 a.m. at Atkinson Fire Station.  

Atkinson, NH was chosen to be one of 66 sites nationwide to be designated as a Regional Site for the observance of Veterans Day Programs and the only site designated in New Hampshire, see link.  https://news.va.gov/125113/veterans-day-regional-sites-2023/

Breakfast is served at 9 am for Atkinson Veterans, their family, and friends. The public are welcome to attend for the Veterans Day ceremony at 10 a.m.  

Please join us to remember and honor our Veterans.

Atkinson Recreation, Atkinson Lions Club, and Atkinson Women’s Civic Club cosponsor this event. Girl Scout, Brownies, Cub Scout, and Boy Scout are participating in the ceremony and please visit Atkinson Historical Society after the ceremony. Kimball House is open from 10:30 am to 1 pm. 

Also, we are collecting old, damaged, and frayed American Flags, which will be burned by our Veterans respectfully.
