24 School Vacation special programs
Atkinson Recreation invites you to attend FREE programs during winter school vacation week for Atkinson children and their family. Preregistration required for limited spaces. First come, first served. Registration starts on Wednesday, February 7th.

- 2 classes of Family Drumming Fitness at Community Center -4 Main Street Atkinson.
Tuesday, February 27th and Thursday, February 29th 9:30 ~ 10:30 am
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Bring water.
- Family Movie Day at Kimball Library “Iron Giant” - 5 Academy Avenue Atkinson.

Tuesday, February 27th
1:00 movie start (12:30 doors open)
Free snacks are available.
- Ice Skating Day for Atkinson Community. at the Haverhill Veterans Memorial Ice Rink - 137 Monument Street Haverhill, MA 01832. Transportation is your own.
Wednesday, February 28th
11:30 Check in starts.
12 pm ~ 2 pm Ice time
- Bring your own skates
- Wear a helmet (recommended children under 6)
- Dress warmly in comfortable clothes (layers are encouraged)
- Hat and gloves or mittens
- Very limited skate rentals are available at your own expense
* Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Participant 13 years old to 18 years old, who attend without an adult, a parent/legal guardian must sign a permission/ release and indemnification
agreement for them so they can attend.
Chaperones are NOT provided on this this event.
