MPC March 2023 Recap

The Master Plan Committee met on March 16th at Town Hall.  The upcoming Forum on April 11 was the main topic. The town is now in the midst of a media blitz about the event.  Have you seen the videos of the Atkinson Academy 2nd and 3rd grade students talking about the Master Plan? Not only are the kids cute, they are insightful. Some are already on ACTV; others will be on the Master Plan and Community Facebook pages.  Videos of the 4th and 5th grade students talking about Atkinson’s future are coming very soon. 

 

If you had “One Wish for Atkinson” what would it be?  “Picture Atkinson ten years from now. What do you want the town to look and feel like?’ The committee pondered these and other more pointed questions to be asked at the Forum.  Please ponder them too. Most of all, save the date.  We will see you at the Community Forum: April 11, 1:00-3:00 and 6:00-8:00. You can attend either session or access an online version of the Forum that will be available then.  Atkinson needs your to help answer the big question, “What’s Next Atkinson?”
