Maater Plan Discussion Group - 9/26/23

The Master Plan Committee is continuing to seek public input and is hosting a discussion group on the topic of housing alternatives.  The results from the survey & forum where inconclusive so we are looking to explore the topic further.

The event will be held on Tuesday, September 26th from 6-8 pm at the Atkinson Community Center and will be facilitated by our consultant Resilience Planning & Design, LLC.

You will have the opportunity to have a conversation with your neighbors on whether additional alternatives would be good for Atkinson, and if so, what they may look like, where they may go and what some challenges may be. Examples of some alternatives are detached & attached accessory dwellings, multi-family, cottage style, starter homes, duplexes, and others.

All views are welcome and encouraged! Seating is limited.
