Citizen's Petition Warrant Article Templates
A citizen petition is a way for a resident to put something on the Town Meeting Warrant if it is not addressed through the budget or other reasons.
Citizen Petitioned Warrant Articles require 25 signatures of registered Atkinson voters per RSA 39:3 and are to be "presented to the selectmen or one of them" (or Town Adminstrator's office on behalf of selectmen) on the second (2nd) Tuesday in January in accordance with RSA 40:13, or the Friday preceding that date if appropriations are needed. It is your responsibility to determine the costs, if any, associated with your petition.
