Public Hearing Meeting
Tuesday, January 20, 2004
Present: Susan Killam, Chairman; Paul DiMaggio, Vice-Chairman; Harold Morse, Phil Consentino
Ms. Killam called the meeting to order at 8:05 PM
Public Hearing Proposed Zoning Change
Ms. Killam read the following proposed change to Zoning:
"An Amendment which will put the Town in compliance with RSA 674:51 & 673:1 which would require the local legislative body (Town Meeting) to establish a "building code board of appeals". The Town will be in compliance by adding a new Section 1300 to the Building Code to read as follows:
Section 1300
Under the provisions of RSA 674:51 & 674:34, the Zoning Board of Appeals shall act as the Atkinson Building Code Board of Appeals."
There were no members of the Public present to ask questions or provide comments. Ms. Killam asked if the Board had any questions or discussion to offer on the proposed change. There was none. Question and comment portion of the Hearing was closed. Harold Morse made a motion to move the question to the Ballot as written, seconded by Paul DiMaggio. All in Favor: Unanimous, none opposed.
The motion carried.
Motion by Harold Morse to adjourn the Meeting, seconded by Paul DiMaggio. All in favor, none opposed. Meeting adjourned at 8:25 P.M.
