Commercial Permit Applications – Building/Fire - $50.00
Electric/Plumbing - $25.00
New Construction – Additions – Alterations
Finished area – residential permit + .05 per sq.ft. + inspections
Unfinished area – residential permit + .04 per sq.ft. + inspections
Finished area – commercial permit + .10 per sq.ft. + inspections
Unfinished area – commercial permit + .06 per sq.ft. + inspections

Septic System
Review of Septic System Plans for State approval - $30.00
Permit to install ($20.00 Residential/Commercial)+ 3 inspections
Well System Permit + inspection
Test Pits $30.00 per hole
Heating System Permit + 1 inspection of each device and flue
Driveway -Standard 2 Inspections
Driveway/Firelane - 3 Inspections, if Paved – 4 Inspections
Swimming Pools
Above Ground w/Electric Permits + 2 inspections
Inground w/ Electric Permits + 3 inspections
Blasting Permit $30.00 Permit fee
Violation Fee – Up to $100 per day as determined by Board of Selectmen
Building Permit Renewal Fee - $25.00 if no change in plans. All construction must begin within six months of issuance of original permit. All permits must be renewed.
