Location: Pope Road, off of Westside Drive, opposite tennis courts.
Open: Wednesday: 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Brush Dump:
Clean wood with no finish, maximum 5 inches in diameter
Lumber no larger than 2" X 12"
Branches, maximum 5 inches in diameter
Mulch Pile:
Leaves, lawn clippings, and wood chips only, and dirt or soil
NOTE: Mulch has to be separated from the brush when dumping these items.
Paper/Cardboard – has to be broken down so that it is lying flat
Co-Mingle
Plastic bottles need to be stepped on, compressed & flat
Aluminum, tin (i.e. dog food, soup)
Glass, sort by color: clear, green & brown
Demolition Debris - Effective April 1, 2004, debris are charged $25.00 by the pickup load, permits are obtained at the Selectmen’s Office
Metal - $25.00 by the pickup load, permits
Scrap iron: cleaned of all other material
Bicycles: tires and plastics removed
Lawn Mowers: tires, oil and gas removed (no auto parts with oil)
Snow blowers: tires, oil and gas removed
Scrap aluminum, i.e. from a shed
DEMO – CONSTRUCTION BIN - $25.00 per truck load
Pressure Treated Wood Shingles Painted Wood Sheetrock
We do not allow the following:
Product: Tires, to be disposed at a tire store when purchasing new ones.
Stumps and wood over 5 inches in diameter
Propane tanks used for grills
NO! NO! NEVER! HAZARDOUS MATERIALS!
