Budget Committee Meeting Minutes
May 19, 2009
Attending: Jim Blackadar – Chairman, Dave Paquette Vice Chairman, Steve Giangregorio, Bill Bennett ex-oficio
Jim called the meeting to order at 7:08 PM. Jim invited Valerie Tobin to speak to the Board regarding the opening. Valarie expressed her interest in joining the Board and looked forward to getting an understanding of the budget process.
Jim motioned to appoint Valarie to a 1 year term/Seconded by Steve/Unanimous 4-0
Next order of business was to appoint the Chair and Vice Chair.
Steve nominated Jim as Chairman/Seconded by Dave/Unanimous 4-0
Dave nominated Steve as Vice-Chairman/Seconded by Jim/Unanimous 4-0
Last order of business was to appoint the department liaisons. The Board kept with the same theme of rotating responsibilities. The liaisons are attached to the minutes.
Bill provided a brief update to the members on current issues in Town.
Dave motioned to adjourn the meeting/Seconded by Jim/Unanimous 4-0. Jim adjourned the meeting at 8:08 PM.
