Minutes of the Board of Selectmen Meeting
Conference Room
December 20, 2007
Members present: Jack Sapia, Paul Sullivan, Fred Childs
6:25 PM Meeting called to order
Meeting opened with Chief Consentino and Lt. Baldwin present wanting to discuss giving union benefits to non union members.
Mr. Sullivan felt that this discussion would be more appropriate at a regular televised BOS meeting.
The Board of Selectmen next discussed giving the Property Liability to LGC. After some discussion the prudence of leaving our present insurance carrier, Primex, in the light of pending law suits possibly exceeding six million dollars, it was decided that it was not in the best interest of the Town to change insurance carriers at this time.
Paul Sullivan made the motion and seconded by Fred Childs to rescind the original motion of going with LGC and to continue our present policy with Primex. Vote was unanimous.
