Welcome to Atkinson

Atkinson is a quiet, bedroom community town located in southern New Hampshire. The winding road of Main Street is both historic and beautiful and was recently adopted as one of New Hampshire's scenic byways. Conveniently located between Routes 125 and 111, you can enjoy country living with easy access to shopping and urban areas.

Town Office Holiday Schedule

The Town observes the following holidays and therefore, all town offices will be closed in observance of these holidays:

Voter Checklist Update

Atkinson Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session on
Monday, November 8, 2021
from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm

The supervisors will be meeting to update the voter checklist to include name, address and party changes for existing voters and new voter registration.

  • Current registered voters to bring photo ID.
  • Newly registered voters to bring proof of residence, citizenship and age as well as photo ID.

Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America (WAA) only accepts checks or credit cards online.
There are several easy ways to participate in this nationwide event. Sponsor and make a wreath donation for the Atkinson Cemetery (NHACAN). Sponsorships can be made in several ways:
Online – WAA web site https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/NH0022P . This link will bring you directly to our group page. You may purchase as many wreaths as you are able.
In Person: Bring your check to the Kimball Library or the Atkinson Community Center 03811. Make checks payable to Wreaths Across America. In the Memo line write (NHACAN/NH0022P).
By Mail: Make your check payable to Wreaths Across America. In the memo line write (NHACAN/NH0022P). Mail to: Atkinson Veteran’s Club/Wreaths Across America, P.O. Box 302, Atkinson, NH. 03811. Donations which exceed our goal will be shared with Arlington National cemetery.

Covid 19 Vaccine Clinic

NH Division of Public Health Services will be holding a Vaccine Clinic August 26th and September 16th from 3 to 7pm at the Atkinson Community Center. No appointment needed, while supplies last, available to anyone over the age of 12. No Health Insurance needed and completely free.
